What began as a fascination with how great instruments are made grew into a passion for building them the right way: thoughtfully, patiently, and without shortcuts. Each TreeTone guitar takes form intentionally, built one at a time and brought to completion by hand — guided as much by feel as by measurement.
The designs honor the timeless lines of the ’50s and ’60s, with subtle refinements that bring clarity, balance, and effortless playability to today’s musician.

How it Works
Aside from a few Available Now releases throughout the year, every guitar is made to order—custom built to match your unique playing style and preferences. You choose the model, tonewoods, electronics, hardware, vintage-inspired lacquer finish, and more. Build times typically range from 8 to 10 months, depending on our current backlog and order volume.
Kick off your custom build with an $800 deposit. You'll pay the remaining balance only when your instrument is finished and ready to ship.
