Sound. Feel. Vibe.

TreeTone Guitars are made one at a time in my Berlin, Connecticut workshop with a focus on tone, feel, and lasting quality.

Built with intention. Made to inspire.

A great guitar isn't merely assembled—it's shaped by patience, intuition, and time.

Every TreeTone begins with carefully selected tonewoods and quality components, but what truly defines the instrument is the hundreds of decisions made throughout the build.

From shaping the neck and dialing in the fretwork to applying the finish and completing the final setup, every step is guided by experience, precision, and feel.

Inspired by the iconic guitars of the 1950s and '60s, TreeTone designs honor the classics while incorporating subtle refinements for today's player. The result is an instrument that feels familiar the first time you pick it up, yet unmistakably its own.

BUILT ONE AT A TIME

Every TreeTone is built start to finish by me. There are no production lines or assembly shortcuts—just one builder focused entirely on each instrument.

MADE FOR THE PLAYER

No two musicians are the same, and no two TreeTone guitars have to be. Whether it's neck shape, pickups, finish, or wood selection, every detail is chosen to create an instrument that feels like a natural extension of the person playing it.

DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE

TreeTone guitars draw inspiration from the golden era of electric guitars while introducing thoughtful refinements in comfort, balance, and playability. Every curve and contour exists for a reason.

NEVER SETTLING

Each completed guitar becomes the starting point for the next. My goal isn't simply to build another guitar—it's to build the best guitar I've ever made.

Recognized Beyond the Workshop

When Orangewood set out to create its first electric guitar, they partnered with TreeTone to bring the Del Sol design to a wider audience.

That collaboration introduced countless players to my work and has since been featured by major guitar publications and retailers.

While that production model makes the design accessible to more musicians, every one of my TreeTone guitars continue to be built by hand in my Connecticut workshop—one instrument at a time, with individually selected woods, premium components, and the attention to detail that only a custom build can offer.

Joseph D, Singapore

"I love every bit of it. From the early stages of my vision to having it in my hand, it was an unforgettable experience. Josh has been super patient, creative and he is a talented luthier... I can finally say, I've got the guitar of my dreams."

Jonny F, CA

"What an outstanding handcrafted instrument! In my stable of guitars, the Stella is hands down my favorite. It was setup perfectly and no detail was overlooked."

Mark G, MO

"He was obviously listening because he delivered what I wanted and more! I love the feel of the neck. But as much as I love the feel and looks, it sounds even better. It absolutely is the most resonant guitar I have ever played."
